SCORE FOR `CANDLE IN THE WIND '97' TO BE AUCTIONED OFF FOR CHARITY

LONDON (Wireless Flash) -- Now that "Candle In The Wind '97" is the biggest selling single ever, producer George Martin hopes the song's original score will raise still more banknotes for charity. On May 21, Martin will auction off the 10-page musical score to "Candle In The Wind '97," as well as a one-of-a-kind "platinum CD" of the recording. The score -- which Martin wrote and arranged at the last minute -- features the autographs of Martin and Elton John on every page. It's expect to fetch as much as $20,000 while the CD has a pre-auction worth of $40,000. The proceeds will benefit various British charities.
