PARENTS OF YOUNG DARTH VADER: HE CAN TOO ACT!

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- The Force may be working against the 10-year-old child star of the new "Star Wars" movie. Jake Lloyd, who plays Anakin Skywalker -- the young Darth Vader -- is being assaulted by internet rumors that his acting is so stiff the film's crew nicknamed him "Mannequin Skywalker." "TV Guide" is reporting the advance attacks aren't pleasing Jake's parents, who are describing them as "...a personal attack on a 10-year-old little boy." Jake's mom also claims George Lucas hit the ceiling when he heard the net nerds were busting on little Jake. Meanwhile, Jake is showing a Yoda-like understanding of the situation and told his parents: "It's only one person's opinion. I know I did a good job. Besides, you guys love me. It doesn't matter." In case you've been under a rock, "Star Wars: The Phantom Menace" opens May 19.
