`KILLER' MEMORABILIA: DISARMED NUKES BEING SOLD TO COLLECTORS

KIRKLAND, Wash. (Wireless Flash) -- History buffs who want to get a blast of history can now own a piece of a genuine nuclear bomb. A man in Washington is selling 6-inch-long chunks of disarmed U.S. nuclear missiles on an internet site called ColdWarArtifact.com. Souvenir collector Gary Metter claims the once-nuclear material is perfectly safe to handle and has been tested to guarantee there are no radiation leaks. Metter says he's selling the "killer" artifacts because he thinks future generations should know about the dangers of nuclear war in order to prevent another Hiroshima. Each nuclear missile chunk comes complete with a certificate of authenticity and a copy of a U.S. military video documenting the dismantling of the nuclear warheads.
