70TH ANNIVERSARY OF AUDREY HEPBURN'S BIRTH (MAY 4)

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) -- Tomorrow (May 4) would have been actress Audrey Hepburn's 70th birthday. Although she died in 1993, she still lives on in the stories of Hollywood tour guide Stephen Schochet, author of the new audio-book "Tales of Hollywood." Schochet says even though the "Breakfast At Tiffany's" star is best-known for playing classy, upper-crust ladies, she got her big break as a vampy chorus girl in a stage revue called "Sauce Tartare." Other trivia about Hepburn... -- Clothes-hog Audrey was such a style maven that she cried after a director suggested she wear white socks with an all-black outfit. -- While filming one scene in which she was required to stand in a field while wearing a white dress, Hepburn requested that she be carried by six men so she wouldn't get muddy. -- And, finally, on the set of "My Fair Lady," she insisted that no one in the crew make eye contact with her -- ever.
