LITTLETON TRAGEDY FORCES TEEN COUNTRY BAND TO CHANGE NAME

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) -- The recent Colorado schoolyard shooting spree is now having repercussions for country musicians. Case in point: the teeny-bop country band known as Young Guns which says it is now looking for a new name. The five band members -- all in their late teens and early twenties -- say they're dropping the Young Guns moniker out of respect for the families in Colorado. The group's publicist admits the band has been getting negative feedback over the name ever since last week's tragedy and, as a result, the band's debut album won't be released until a new name is chosen. Ironically, when the band finally releases their yet-to-be- titled CD, the first single will be a tune called "Saturday Night" -- which the publicist is quick to point out has nothing to do with Saturday Night Special handguns.
