MTV'S JESSE CAMP CHANGES HIS TUNE ON NEW CD

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- Gangly, goofy MTV personality Jesse Camp is changing his tune from gabbing to rocking with a new CD. Camp will make his recording debut next month on the Hollywood Records release "Jesse & The 8th Street Kidz." Besides singing a Bryan Adams-ish lead on all 14 tracks, Jesse also plays tenor saxophone on a song called "Griftin" and duets with Stevie Nicks on a ditty titled, "My Little Savior." The 19-year-old VJ says he's been cuckoo for music ever since he was a little kid and would pretend his grandma's vacuum was a microphone. But Jesse has a more serious reason for exposing the world to his music: he wants to reach out to kids who feel alienated and out of place like he did as a child. Insiders who've heard the music says it sounds like `70s-era Elton John songs like "The Bitch Is Back" with a little Black Crowes mixed in.
