LAUGH YOUR WAY TO THE BANK AT GIGGLING CONTEST

LAUGH YOUR WAY TO THE BANK AT GIGGLING CONTEST

MINNEAPOLIS (Wireless Flash) -- George and "Weezy" Jefferson have an awful lot to laugh about lately. Sherman Hemsley and Isabel Sanford, the two stars of "The Jeffersons," will soon be entering their own famous laughs into a "Giggle-Off" contest sponsored by Pillsbury. The company -- best known for its famous giggling Dough Boy character -- is trying to find the person with the funniest, most infectious or most unique laughter. A spokesperson warns that contestants shouldn't copy the Dough Boy's trademark "hoo-hoo" giggle, and that judges want original laughs only. You'll be able to register your chortle, guffaw or tee-hee by calling a toll-free number starting April 21. It's 1-888-WE- GIGGLE or 1-888-934-4445. The winning laugher will be announced in October and will receive $50,000 -- bringing new meaning to the phrase "Laugh your way to the bank."
