RESEARCHER: BAD HYGIENE MAKES FOR GOOD SEX

JUPITER, Fla. (Wireless Flash) -- If you want a good sex life, practice bad hygiene. It turns out too much bathing suppresses pheromones, which are chemicals that communicate sexual interest. Aphrodisiac researcher Nancy Nickell of Jupiter, Florida, claims tight clothes, deodorants and too many showers wash away pheromones and prevent the opposite sex from picking up on your hot and bothered chemical signals. Nickell says you're more likely to get lucky if you reduce the number of times you bathe, let your armpit, facial and other body hair grow out, and ditch the deodorant. To let all your pheromones fly freely, she suggests wearing a loose-fitting muu-muu, toga or armpit-exposing tank top. Also, avoid underwear at all costs because the groin is one of the biggest pheromone-producing areas of the body. Nickell discusses other aphrodisiacs in her new book, "Nature's Aphrodisiacs" (Crossing Press).
