`FASTEST PIZZA MAKER' CONTESTANT TRAINS WITH TAE-BO

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (Wireless Flash) -- That trendy new workout "Tae-Bo" is everywhere these days -- including pizza parlor kitchens. That's where a California-based pizza tosser is using the kickboxing/aerobic routine as part of his training for the upcoming "Domino's World's Fastest Pizza Maker" contest in Miami Beach. Pizza tosser Rene DeGuia hopes his knowledge of the Chinese martial art will help him beat the world's record of assembling 14 pizzas in 2 minutes and 47 seconds. Another contestant in Ohio has been consulting with a self- help guru/motivational coach -- but returning champion Chris Witting of New Jersey says the secret to his success is that he hums Gary Glitter's "Rock `n' Roll Part 2" while he's making pizzas. The contest will be held on April 19 and the winning dough roller will get $5000.
