EATING LOTS OF SPICES CAN MAKE YOUR FEET STINK

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- If people pass out whenever you take off your shoes, don't change your socks -- change your diet. According to podiatrist Dr. Suzanne Levine of New York's Presbyterian Hospital, foot odor is often caused by eating spicy foods like curry, Chinese food or baked garlic. Levine says just about any spice you ingest can affect the smell of your sweat, and it's not uncommon for sweaty feet to smell like onions, garlic or pepper. The problem is compounded because gravity makes sweat pool up at the bottoms of the feet. However, there is a solution to the stinky, spicy feet problem: Dr. Levine says you can usually eliminate the odor by switching to a bland diet that contains few spices.
