PSYCHOLOGIST: CURSING IS GOOD FOR YOU

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- Cursing a blue streak can get you in the pink of health, according to New York-based psychologist Dr. Lillian Glass. It turns out cursing is actually good for you because it helps release pent-up emotions caused by life's frustrations. In fact, she insists that NOT cursing is worse because the built-up tension could lead to diseases like heart attacks or even cancer. Although Glass thinks cursing has its positive points, she recommends parents teach their children how to curse in a way that won't offend others -- such as screaming "I'm mad at you!" Dr. Glass is the author of the new book "The Complete Idiot's Guide To Verbal Self-Defense" (McMillan), which hits stores in July.
