POPCORN COLLECTING NEW FAD FOR U.S. TEENS

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- Parents, instead of worrying whether your kids have joined a gang or are on drugs, pay attention to what they're collecting. "React" magazine reports that many American kids are starting to collect all sorts of bizarre objects including potato chip bags, fruit stickers and even old lightbulbs. Like the 14-year-old girl in Rootstown, Ohio, who saves popcorn kernels that look like animals or the 13-year-old girl in Brooklyn who owns more than 2,023 pictures of Hanson. Other teens with nutty collections include a 15-year-old girl in Sanford, Maine, who collects sticky labels applied to fruit and a 14-year-old girl in Semmes, Alabama, who collects old lightbulbs and says whenever she's mad she shatters one against a tree.
