BOVINE BOUFFANTS: COWS GET THEIR OWN WIGS

BERN, Switzerland (Wireless Flash) -- Even cows are going the high fashion route these days, thanks to a Swiss farmer who has just created the world's first wigs for cows. But the fluffy, styled wigs aren't perched on the bovine's noggin -- they're attached to the animals' rear end to make the tail look fuller and fluffier. Farmer Werner Mueger says his "tail wigs" are in high demand for cows that are photographed for magazines or for appearances at agricultural shows. Now he hopes his farm animal hairpieces will catch on overseas where he plans to sell the $40 tail wigs to North American farmers.
