PULP FASHION: PAPER CLOTHING WORTH BIG BUCKS

PULP FASHION: PAPER CLOTHING WORTH BIG BUCKS

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- You probably wouldn't pay $1500 for a piece of paper -- but, believe or not, on May 3, somebody will. That's when a women's dress suit made entirely of cream- colored wallpaper will go on sale at the Sotheby's auction house in New York. The pricey paper suit was designed by Chanel, and experts believe it will command anywhere from $1500 to $2500 at the sale. Other "pulp fashions" going on the block... -- A sleeveless paper dress printed with Campbell's soup cans is expected to sell for at least $600. -- A child's size six paper dress with Yogi Bear's mug on it could fetch as much as $300. -- And, finally, there's a pair of pink paper high-heeled shoes that could sell for $1000.
