100-YEAR-OLD DOCTOR DUBBED `AMERICA'S OLDEST WORKER'

PHILADELPHIA (Wireless Flash) -- Most people retire at age 65 -- but Philadelphia physician Fredrick Sunderman is still working eight hours a day at the ripe old age of 100. Dr. Sunderman has just been named "America's Oldest Worker" by Green Thumb, a job training organization for senior citizens. Although he's twice as old as most folks in his field, the good doctor still spends 40 hours a week editing the medical journal "Annals of Clinical and Laboratory Science." Dr. Sunderman also organizes scientific field trips, workshops and seminars for his fellow doctors. But it's not all work and no play for the busy centenarian: he plays violin for at least an hour every day and often hosts musical performances in his home.
