DAVENPORT, IOWA: AMERICA'S CHEAPEST CITY FOR BUSINESS TRIPS

ROCHESTER, Wis. (Wireless Flash) -- Davenport, Iowa, may not be a haven for corporate big shots but it's heaven for cheapskates. The city has just been chosen America's Cheapest Business Destination by Runzheimer International, which says that the cost of three meals and lodging is a paltry $102 per day. In second place is Fayetteville, North Carolina, which averages about $103 per day of business travel; followed by Macon, Georgia, where it costs about $105 per day. By comparison, New York is still the most expensive city in the U.S.: The cost for one day of business travel in the Big Apple is a whopping $380 per day.
